Due to potential and unannounced schedule changes, we encourage you to reconfirm your itinerary with your airline at least 24 hours prior to departure. According to current TSA and Homeland Security rules, you will not be permitted to pass through the security checkpoint screening area with any liquid or gel products that are in a container of more than 3 ounces. All medications and liquids in 3 ounce bottles or less must be in a quart size zip lock bag and displayed for TSA screening. Please ensure that all prescription medication is in an appropriately labeled bottled that has been issued by your pharmacy. Luggage Information Please expect a high level of security and enforcement of policies for both checked and carry-on luggage by airport officials, TSA and your airline. Luggage fees may apply and if applicable can be found on either your e-ticket itinerary or on the airline’s website. Passengers should review the bag tag that is placed on your checked luggage by airline officials to ensure that it is tagged all the way through your connection point to New Orleans (MSY). Please limit your checked luggage to a maximum of one piece per person weighing no more than 50 lbs. Luggage in excess of the maximum amount per ticketed passenger will incur an additional charge. You will be responsible for all additional luggage charges. Most airlines limit carry-on luggage to one piece plus a smaller personal item such as a purse, laptop or briefcase per person. If you bring a carry-on that is larger than the airline’s requirement you may be asked to gate check your bag. For detailed information, we encourage passengers to check their airline’s website. In the event of delayed or lost luggage, we recommend packing medications, valuables, and other necessities, including a change of clothes, in your carry-on bag and not in your checked luggage. If you choose to use a lock on your luggage, please ensure that it is TSA approved or it will be forcibly removed for inspection.
