4 GOLDEN RULES OF BARTENDING 1. Ensure a properly set up bar. Full list of Bar Tools, Juices & Mixes, Beers, Spirits, Wine and all Dry Goods needed for service. 2. Always follow the appropriate recipe when making every drink. See Top 100 Manual. 3. Always measure using an approved Metal Jigger when making any mixed drink to ensure consistency. 4. Measure ingredients in order of thickness; from thickest to thinnest. Purees → Syrups → Juices → Spirits 5. Pack every glass to the brim with ice in order to equally chill and dilute every drink. 6. Follow the proper technique when making cocktails and know when to use them. Stir a Manhattan & Shake a Cosmopolitan. 7. Show confidence behind the bar by pouring assertively and shaking with authority over your shoulder. The bar is your stage. 8. Present all drinks with proper garnish and napkin.
